Finally. i've chosen Geekghost as my new home. And they are really great.
For 89$ (it is 30$ more than what i did pay by DTH) i've:
- 8 full core
- 8192 MB virtual memory
- 8192 MB physical memory
- 1,000 entry process
- I/) usage 17.6 MB/s
and support is great. Response on my questions are less than 30 minutes. Fixing of issue is within a couple hours.
There were some issues with security but everything works now as it suppose to be.
I can recommend GeekGhost at this moment to anybody who need more server power and is ready to pay a bit more but than know that server is stable and that his site should not face any issue.

One of the things that I love about GeekGhost is that they don't give you a run around when they answer your questions and they don't trick you in to upgrading to other plans if it's not necessary, unlike the other hosting sites.

A more than a month a go i've moved from Downtownhost to GeekGhost - and i have only loving words about this new home for my website.
I got by their semi-dediciated packet (Uber-1) more inside that packet than anywhere else and actually also more than what they offer self (instead of 4 full core cpu i got 8 full core cpu, instead of 600 processes i got 1000 etc...) It is good feeling when you feel that they do for you as customer anything what they can do to give you max. for your money without forcing you to take more expensive packet.
Also if there is single issue you got an email where they explain what was wrong, how long time did the issue take and how they solve it out. I tried a couple company before GeekGhost but must say that GeekGhost (it looks to me as unknown name here on Webhostingtalk) is great and more concentrate on happy and satisfied customers.

Have been a reseller and server user for 15 years. A fast server that is always performing well is very important to my business.

I've had two rental servers in different locations for 15+ years. One has been with Dathorn ( and it's continued to be a great experience. I also use another server somewhere else in the country in case there is a catastrophic issue with one host, or if connectivity between us is interrupted. That backup was with hostgator for years. Last year when hostgator moved from Texas to a new site in Utah, server performance degraded substantially. That's when I started to look for a new host. After evaluating a few of them, setting up test account to see how much of our 150/65 FiOS connection it could use...decided on Geek Ghost hosting,

Now, six months later, here to report that the experience has been excellent. In addition to great server performance, they have great communication: if a server will have any update, patch, etc. there's an email letting me know the details. My ping report shows a minute of downtime over the last number of months. When I had issue needing to allow a larger upload via http on a wordpress site, they were quick to walk me through the server config to change it. Throughput speeds have been fantastic. They seem to have great connectivity...I'm usually able to max out my fiber connection.

Geek Ghost seem very reasonable with their prices (not bottom feeders overselling everything...but reasonable for a real host) and the experience has been very good. Highly recommended.

Last year I purchased a Reseller acct with GeekGhost, started slow with a few domain websites, and expected the usual communication, performance and response-service time. Man, was I wrong. I am on the "net" since '98, have been with several of the "big" name hosting companies and some smaller ones, but the "GeekGhost" team has put them all to shame IMO.
Response time as fast as 2 (YES - 2 minutes), assisting with non-server related issues - outstanding, performance of their servers (YES -plural by now for me with several accounts) the BEST in my book.
I have opened some added accounts, and was able to "beta" test a week earlier the VPS. People, I am just thrilled, got the managed version, and worked from the first minute just perfect, already 20 sites running on it.
I have some clients who have VPS accts with some "big" name companies, and everyone of them has some issues (promised updates not done, a day delay of responses, dealing with support people who do not know difference between a "core" function and a "choir", etc.)
From my first day as a minimum account client, the GeekGhost team has NEVER failed to respond in time, solved every so minute issue faster than I can type (and they were my fault) and they know what they are doing. I am possibly surprising them with my non-solicited testimonial here.
